The larger amount of costumes on offer is due to the fact that players will be able to assume control of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in the upcoming title, and with the new Suit Styles feature, which unlocks alternate color shaders for some suits, this further provides over 200 ways to customize the wall-crawlers. Over 65 suits have been confirmed for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - a huge increase when compared to its predecessors - which continues this trend of blending new original designs with fan favorites from films and comics. The suits in the game are inspired by all forms of media, from the comics in which the superheroes originated to movies such as Into The Spider-Verse or Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, and include several original designs made specifically for each game.
